No Fix No Fee Conditions
While we are more than happy to offer a no fix no fee policy to customers if we do not have the necessary skills to repair your PC.
However there are a couple of conditions where the full fee or a diagnostic fee must still be paid.
In the following circumstances fees will still apply:
- If the technician has commenced work and is prevented in any way by the customer from repairing the system.
- If the technician diagnoses the problem but you decide not to go ahead with the repair after the technician has spent time diagnosing and offering advice.
- If you ask the technician to stop work before the job is complete fees up until that point are payable even if the system is not repaired.
- In most of the above cases only a one hour labour fee will be charged but in cases where the engineer has spent a long time on the job we reserve the right to charge for that time.
In the following circumstances no fee will be charged:
The technician does not have the necessary skills to repair your system.
While we will always try to backup your data before any work is carried out, on occasions this may not be possible due to system failures/hard drive failures. Under no circumstances will we be held responsible for any loss of data and/or software, it will be the customers responsibility to back up their own data.
Lee Harvey Computing will not install any software you provide if we believe it is illegal.
It is the customers responsibility to install any software that is not supplied to us at the time of repair. If upon return of devices we are asked to install software that we were not initially supplied/agree to do we reserve the right to charge an additional hourly charge.
Payment are excepted by cash, bacs or any major card through our mobile card reader, payment are to be made immediately on completions of work
If equipment is not claimed or we can not contact you to return your equipment after 60 days we reserve the right to dispose of the equipment to recover the costs for work performed. After this period Lee Harvey Computing shall have no liability to the Client or any third party. Every effort will be made to contact the customer via telephone, Email, and mail with records kept.
We respect your privacy. Any personal information you provide to us including your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address will not be released, sold, or rented to any company’s or individuals outside of Lee Harvey Computing.
As a business dealing with both personal and business computers we understand that we have access to some very private and sensitive information including pictures, documents and emails. Keeping your personal data private is our highest priority. When dealing with your computer every effort will be made to keep your private data private by accessing only the files required to perform the repairs you set us to do.
